Silica gel filler "Tail" is a modern and extremely effective solution for maintaining the cleanliness of a cat litter box. Compared to other types of fillers, silica gel has many times higher absorption properties, which is explained by the unique structure of its crystals: the surface area of ​​​​the highly porous material reaches up to 800 cm² per 1 g of filler.

Silica gel is a dried gel of polysilicic acid (SiO₂). In terms of chemical composition, it is similar to ordinary sand, but due to its porosity, it is able to instantly absorb moisture and odors, "locking" them inside the crystals. The filler does not change shape, does not clump or turn into a mushy mass, and therefore does not stick to the cat's paws and fur and does not spread around the house.

The filler TM Khvostik contains granules of a medium fraction of 0.5–2 mm, which makes it comfortable even for cats with sensitive paws. Under the condition of control by the owner, silica gel can also be used for kittens.

Important: some kittens may try to taste the granules. Eating silica gel is dangerous to health, so it is recommended to monitor your pet at an early age.
